Hello! Long time no brain dump!
How’re self edits going you ask?
Well, fine. To put it short. I think you’re all going to love Wyatt and Arianna (omg character reveal?? 👀 more on them later) I have two, maybe three beta readers waiting on me to wrap things up and an editor booked. So that’s exciting! I’m about 1/2 of the way through my current self edit and I’m having to shift some timeline stuff around. Which, if you know me, is my worst nightmare. But overall, I think things are good. I love the town and the characters and I’m excited to get on the other side of this so I can keep drafting book 2.
I Spy…Evie
My cat has been keeping me company during day job things and I snapped this extremely cute and silly photo of her. I adopted this little princess back in January and she’s been making me laugh by doing silly things like this since then. She’s napping next to me now, looking just as cute and slightly less silly. Maybe I’ll snap another pic and include that one in a future newsletter.
Escort boys anyone?
I promise, I’m not propositioning you. I just watched a show I found randomly on Prime and it’s called Escort Boys. And it was actually pretty good! Here’s the brief synopsis: In the Camargue, four boys, driven by their respective troubles, find themselves selling their bodies. Initially amateurs, they set up an escort service with the help of the group's mischievous little sister.
It’s funny, and endearing, and yeah. It’s super sexy. Just FYI, it’s a French show and they don’t shy away from nudity. It’s 6 episodes and no promises of a second season, so be forewarned. But if you’re looking for something short, hot, and actually kind of touching at times, check it out. Then let me know so I have someone to talk about it with!
